The year is 1995. It’s Saturday morning. You’re still in your PJs, you’ve got your bowl of Cheerios, and you’re parked in front of the TV. Saturday Anime on the Sci Fi channel is about to start. The word Akira splashes across the screen.

You’re instantly hooked. The vivid images of the anime stay with you throughout the day of bike riding with friends all the way until you’re ready for bed, reading under the blankets by flashlight well past bedtime.

That was me. I grew up with Saturday Anime and Fox kids watching great shows like X-men and Batman the Animated Series and fell asleep reading Anne McCaffrey, Mercedes Lackey, or the latest Star Wars book.

Nostalgic for the stories that fueled me as a child and driven to create my own, I started writing my own books in 2007 and started publishing my work in 2011. I’ve published over twenty titles since then in fantasy and science fiction and never looked back. When not digging the word mines, I’m either at work, knitting, playing video games, or out walking my dog.
